Membership is extended to all full or permanent part time employees of the IDFCU, Applied Industrial Technologies, its wholly owned subsidiaries, or Organizations entitled to Applied Industrial Technologies employee benefits. Membership must be initiated while employed or retired from IDFCU, Applied Industrial Technologies, its wholly owned subsidiaries, or Organizations entitled to Applied Industrial Technologies employee benefits.

Membership is extended to the immediate family of a member who is a current or retired employee of IDFCU, Applied Industrial Technologies, it's wholly owned subsidiaries, or Organizations entitled to Applied Industrial Technologies employee benefits. Immediate family includes current spouse (wife/husband), children (children being defined as biological, adopted, stepchildren, or legal ward of the member), brother, sister, parents, current father/mother-in-law, grandparents, and any step-relations that may currently exist in the immediate family definition. In order for an immediate family member to join IDFCU the employee must be a member in good standings otherwise immediate family does not apply.
